Master Key

Master Key is a special key designed to operate a group of several locks within a master key system. These locks, known as master-keyed locks, are uniquely configured to be operated by two or more different keys. Each lock in the set has a specific key, called a change key, which can only open that particular lock and no others. In contrast, the master key can open all locks within the system.

The key itself is not different in appearance or form, but the locks it operates have an additional mechanism that allows the master key to bypass the individual lock settings. Essentially, master-keyed locks are equipped with two sets of internal mechanisms: one set is unique to the individual lock, matching its change key, and the other set is standardized across all locks in the group, corresponding to the master key.

Master keys are crucial for situations where multiple access points need to be managed efficiently, such as in office buildings, hotels, and other facilities where hierarchical access is required. They provide a convenient and secure way to control access across multiple locks with a single key. Finding a reliable Master Key Supplier in China can ensure the seamless implementation and maintenance of these systems.
