Is the lock suitable for outdoor or wet areas?

Yes. Locker locks receive a demanding surface treatment for water resistance and corrosion protection, so they are a sensible choice for indoor and outdoor cabinets alike. They are widely used in gyms, swimming pools, and external storage units.

What is the "scramble" function on the mechanical lock series?

When the lock is closed, the dials automatically scramble back to 0-0-0-0. This means the last user's code is never left visible on the dial face, which is the most common way a mechanical locker code leaks. It also removes the usual courtesy instruction "please scramble the dials" that is so often ignored.

What unlocking methods does electronic locks support?

RFID sensing on the 13.56 MHz MIFARE platform, touchscreen input, and keypad PIN entry. RFID is the fastest option for high-traffic venues; keypad PIN is the most economical; touchscreen models combine both.  Keypad models use a multi-digit code combination, so the code space is large enough that casual guessing is impractical.

How do I choose between electronic lock, mechanical lock and IoT?

Use a mechanical lock where there is no power budget, no IT support, and no need for data — it is the most robust and lowest-cost option. Use an electronic lock where users expect a premium experience, and you want card-based or PIN access without a network. Use the IoT lock when you need central control, remote authorisation, usage statistics, or time-based billing. Many projects mix the three lines across different zones of the same building.
