What test reports can you provide?

Our own testing laboratory covers salt-spray testing, tensile testing, waterproof testing, torsion-force testing, life-cycle testing, and material certificates, CE, etc. The relevant reports are supplied with quotations or on request, so that specifiers and tender committees can assess the locks on evidence.

What is the delivery lead time?

Lead time depends on the model, the order quantity, and whether tooling or custom packaging is involved. Standard products ship on a short lead time; customised programmes are confirmed at the quotation stage. Your sales contact will give you the committed date in writing.

What are your price terms?

EXW or FOB, depending on your preference. FOB shipments leave through the Port of Xiamen, close to our factory.

Can the software behaviour be changed for our site?

Frequently, yes. Because the locks are configured at the lock itself and, on the IoT line, through the platform, operating parameters such as mode switching, credential tiers, and usage rules can be adapted. Tell us how your site operates, and we will propose a configuration.

Do you offer ODM and product customisation?

Yes. MAKE has its own R&D team and a full production chain, so programmes can be customised to your requirements: different credential behaviour, different colourways, different body finishes, different packaging. Describe the requirement, and we will confirm feasibility, tooling implications, and lead time.

Is there a minimum order quantity?

MOQ depends on whether the order is branded. For standard products, the MOQ is 100 pieces; when your own logo and branded packaging are required, the MOQ is 3,000 pieces. Mixed orders and trial quantities can be discussed with your sales contact.

How many incorrect code attempts before the lock protects itself?

After a small number of consecutive incorrect entries, the keypad suspends input for about a minute, and for a further minute after each subsequent incorrect attempt. This anti-tamper behaviour is intentional and resets itself; a valid manager credential or the master key still opens the lock during this period. Do not cycle the power in an attempt to clear it.

The lock does not respond when a card or code is presented. What should I check?

Work through these four checks in order:

  1. Confirm the lock is not in a temporary input-suspension state caused by repeated rejected credentials — wait about a minute and try again.
  2. Confirm the battery is not low or exhausted.
  3. Confirm the credential is valid for that specific locker; in public mode, a card is only accepted by the unit that it locked.
  4. Confirm the card is MIFARE-compatible and undamaged.

If all four are correct, open the locker with the master key and contact support.

What if a user forgets the combination on a mechanical lock?

On the combination lock series, there is a recovery path that does not require breaking the lock: the correct code can be recovered and the lock opened in an emergency in a matter of seconds using the master key. That is the main argument for choosing CORE over a padlock that would have to be cut off.

What happens if the battery goes flat and a locker is locked?

You are never locked out. The lock has an invisible mechanical key cylinder, and the master key opens it in emergency mode — with no damage to the lock and no damage to the locker. Where the model supports it, an external power input can also jump-start the lock so the user's own credentials can be used to open it.

Is there a low-battery warning?

Yes. The lock signals a low-voltage condition before the battery is exhausted, so planned replacement is possible instead of a sudden failure. Operators should change batteries across the bank on a schedule once the first warning appears, rather than waiting for individual lock failures.

Which door materials and thicknesses are supported?

Locker doors in metal, plastic, and laminate are all suitable. Because the electronic components are isolated from the door, the lock is not limited to a single door thickness; provide the thickness range for your bank, and we will confirm the correct variant. For mechanical locks, the fixing is that of a standard combination locker lock.
